Monsoon has arrived as well as, frizzy hair too. One of the biggest problem for women. As much as we love rainfall. We also get into a war every year against frizz caused by monsoon. Whether, it’s rain or humidity a bomb is gonna explode in your hair.
Here is a guide to cope with frizzy hair
Almond Oil, Mayonnaise and Egg
Add 1-2 eggs, 1/4 cup of mayonnaise and 1/3 cup of almond oil in a bowl. Mix them all together in a bowl. Apply the paste to every strand of your hair and cover them for 30 minutes with shower cap. Dilute vinegar in water according to your hair length rinse them off with it and see the results.
Coconut Oil and Vitamin E Oil
Add 1/4 cup of coconut oil and 1/1 cup of vitamin e oil in bottle. Blend it well and apply it to you hair for 40 minutes. Shampoo it with a mild shampoo.
Your shampoo plays a major role
Use a mild shampoo everyday to keep your scalp clean. Since, humidity is the reason of dryness and roughness you got to keep your hair moist. But, avoid using a strong shampoo.
Apply a good conditioner as well for soothing effect in your hair.
Combing your hair is necessary
Comb your hair with a brush or more effectively use a comb to keep them straight and clear out tangles from them. Too much combing can damage your hair. Wide-tooth comb would be an ideal one for frizzy hair. Oh and combing your hair when it i s wet really helps!
Seal the hair cuticle with cold water
Rinsing with cold water closes the cuticle, the outer layer of the hair that’s similar to shingles on a roof. When you wash with warm water, the warmth opens the cuticle, allowing the products to penetrate each strand of hair on your head.
Use glycerin free products
Glycerin is often found in most hair care products and it is an essential element to cause hair frizz. Let go of the products containing glycerin for a few months.
Keep your hair away from irons
Whether, it’s a dryer or straightener. Avoid using them during monsoon. Embrace the natural beauty of your hair. Usage of these products cause dryness which leads to dandruff. Obviously, you don’t want that.
