Hum Awards 2018 – A little too biased?

Hum Awards are one of the most eminent and alluring awards of the industry. These awards purpose is to encourage the new talent of our industry.

These Awards took place on 28th July 2018, but because of the rehearsals many actors felt right to neglect their civic duty over awards. Since, these actors didn’t fullfil their duty people are boycotting from the awards.

Well, here is the list of winners of 6th Hum Awards.

Sajal deserved it because the way she gets into the character always does wonders.

Best Actor Male – Soap

Arsalan Butt for Naseebon Jalli

Not much fond him, But according to my opinion Ali Ansari deserved this award as his character wasn’t expressionless.

Best Actor Female – Soap

Hiba Qadir for Thori Si Wafa

Best Actor Male – Popular

Ahad Raza Mir for Yakeen Ka Safar

Another award for Ahad. Though he was quite famous after his debut drama serial so, he deserves it.

Best New Sensation – Female

Hania Amir

I wonder it’s been years since Hania has been working in the industry which technically doesn’t make her new. Ah!

The awards seems quite biased to me as usual. Drama serial Alif Allah Aur Insaan storyline wasn’t strong and there are many actors who deserved the award instead of giving most of the awards to undeserving actors.

I still can’t get why deserving actors mostly aren’t acknowledged. Some award winners did deserved it but, still our industry got to stop being biased and giving away the awards to undeserving actors.

Your award show can still run if, Mahira Khan or Humayun Saeed won’t get an award for doing nothing.
