Shiny materials , majestic flairs, flowy, shirts, Shararas and wedding Lehngas with embroidery did give the heritage feel that the designers intended to. Taking over the ball game with the last show at the PFDC Loreal Paris Bridal Week , The house of Kamiar Rokni closed Day 1.
Where beauty meets fashion at PLBW16, Kamiar rokhni’s heritage collection in the end was worth the wait. The collection was a collaborative venture with Sonica jewellers who’s jewellery pieces complemented the heritage along with it they consisted of various colour hues starting from strong single hue in every dress from reds, pink, deep purple, sea green and then a collaborative palette of bright and pastel hues. The silhouettes were kept classic to depict heritage and the collection was easy to understand.
The classic detailing and traditional work with beads and embellishments was displayed in the heritage collection which spoke out for itself. The show ended with a clear balance of worth attending day one at PLW’16.
