Sean Paul and Ali Zafar set to kick off PSL in Dubai What's Happening Now!

The excitement for the PSL 2016 has reached a completely new level. Most people were already aware of the fact that Pakistani celebrities like Sanam Saeed and Mohib Mirza of Bachaana fame were going to perform at the opening ceremony of the PSL, but the news that the world renowned Jamaican rapper Sean Paul will also be performing alongside Ali Zafar has increased the anticipation among Pakistani viewers and general cricketing fans alike. Within the next 48 hours, the PSL is set to begin and we hope that it helps in putting Pakistan back on the cricketing map.

All five teams and their members will be present at the ceremony. Once the star-studded opening ceremony comes to an end, the first match will start which will feature Islamabad United taking on Quetta Gladiators. The tournament is bringing several top international cricketers to Dubai and Sharjah. Local favorites such as Shoaib Malik and Shahid Afridi will be joined by Chris Gayle, Kevin Pietersen and several others. The tournament will end on the 23rd of February and the winning pool is roughly $1 million.

PSL2

In a video message made exclusively for the event, Sean Paul invited his fans to attend the opening ceremony. He said “I will be in Dubai on the 4th of February 2016 for the HBL Pakistan Super League. Hope to see you there!!”

Ali Zafar said “I am proud to announce that I will be performing at the opening ceremony. It is definitely going to be a lot of fun and fans are in for a huge surprise from me.”
